KEY TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION


The international community strongly believes that through education we can instill values, foster the attitude, behaviour and lifestyle required for a sustainable future. Education for sustainable development is a process of learning how to make decisions essential to ensure the long-term future of economy, ecology and equity of all communities. Development thinking focused on the future is a key task of education. Various aspects of lifelong education in conditions of Russian-European integration will be explored during round table sessions

"Lifelong education for sustainable development" (LED)
which will be held at the National research Mordovia State University,
12-15 April 2016.


Topics of interest:
1. Issues of ensuring lifelong education in accordance with the concept of sustainable development.

2. EU countries’ experience in organising lifelong education.

3. Networking in carrying out lifelong education with EU universities.

4. Professional ethics for sustainable development.
